Our MVC 18N Black Team finished their USAV Boys Junior National Championships Tournament yesterday in Dallas, Texas. They made it to the GOLD bracket and finished in 5th place overall out of 73 teams in Club Division. When we opened boys club in August last year, we never dreamed of having a team competing at Nationals a few short months later, let alone have a chance to be the best team in the country. We fell two matches short, but left everything on the floor and that’s all we could ever ask for. They had their matches live streamed on The USA Volleyball website, had endless recruiters from colleges around the country offer scholarship opportunities, went toe to toe with the best players in the nation every day, and made friendships that will last a lifetime. This team helped pave the way and inspire other players to choose club volleyball over other sports and put Momentum Volleyball on the map! We can’t thank our players and parents enough from all of our teams for taking a chance at a first year club and supporting your players from day one. We have offered some of our graduating players coaching opportunities to stay with the program and help build this program for the next several years to come. We want to wish all of our players going on to college the best of luck in your future endeavors and playing careers. We expect our program will double or triple in size this upcoming season and we hope to see you at our summer open gyms and tryouts! We have unfinished business to attend to....#MVC
