2026 Boys Spring Developmental Season
Momentum Volleyball Club’s Spring Developmental Boys Season is a shortened club season designed to either introduce your son to competitive club volleyball or allow returning athletes to continue developing in preparation for the USAV Fall Club Season, which begins in August.
The Boys Spring volleyball program at Momentum is developmental by design (6th-8th Graders), focused on learning, growth, and experience, while still providing meaningful competition in a supportive environment.
Step 1: Join the Interest List (Start Here)
All families interested in the 2026 Spring Season should begin by completing the Spring Season Interest Form.

This allows Momentum to communicate:
Open Gym reminders and updates
General tryout information
Program timelines and next steps
Access to official tryout registration and instructions (sent separately)
Completing the interest form does not register your athlete for tryouts. It ensures you receive all required information as it becomes available.
Step 2: Attend January Open Gyms (Strongly Encouraged)
Open Gyms are the best opportunity for athletes to:
Experience a club volleyball environment
Get quality reps and training
Meet Momentum coaches
Begin the evaluation process prior to tryouts

Coaching & Club Culture at Momentum Volleyball Club
Momentum Volleyball Club is family-owned and operated and built on relationships, accountability, and long-term athlete development. At MVC, your player is not just a number—our coaches and owners take pride in knowing each athlete by name and building relationships with the families who are part of our club community.
Our Purpose, Mission, and Goal
MVC’s PURPOSE is to offer an opportunity for junior players to learn, develop skills, and compete at all levels of volleyball, while also teaching important life lessons such as teamwork, leadership, and respect.
MVC’s MISSION is to facilitate student athletes with the training necessary through volleyball to become great role models in our community, both on and off the court, and to ensure they have all the tools needed to reach their full potential through positive experiences within our volleyball club.
Our GOAL is to provide every MVC athlete with the opportunity to become a future ambassador of volleyball in their respective communities and to prepare them to face the future with confidence. We strive to develop athletes who become strong leaders and citizens by living out our core values of respect, integrity, responsibility, and sportsmanship.
MVC Coaches Overview:
Momentum Volleyball Club is proud to have a staff of experienced, certified boys volleyball coaches who are deeply rooted in the Arizona club volleyball community.
Our coaches:
Have extensive experience coaching boys volleyball at the club level in Arizona
Are certified and trained in alignment with USA Volleyball standards
Are dedicated to boys volleyball development, not split between boys and girls club programs
Understand the technical, physical, and competitive demands unique to the boys game
Momentum does not rotate or “float” coaches who are simultaneously coaching in separate girls club programs. Our coaching staff is intentionally built to focus on boys volleyball athletes and their long-term growth.
A Collaborative, Athlete-Centered Approach
The Spring Developmental program follows a collaborative coaching model:
Teams may train together
Courts may rotate
Athletes may receive instruction from multiple qualified coaches
This approach allows players to gain different perspectives, while each team still maintains an assigned Head Coach and Assistant Coach to ensure consistency, accountability, and clear leadership.
Above all, MVC coaches are committed to creating a positive, challenging, and supportive environment where athletes can grow as volleyball players and as people.
The MVC Difference
At Momentum Volleyball Club:
Athletes are known personally
Families are part of the club, not customers
Development is prioritized over shortcuts
Character matters just as much as performance
Our goal is not just to develop better volleyball players, but to help develop better young men who represent themselves, their families, and their communities with pride.
