This page will provide all of the tryout day details. This includes:

Required USAV Membership Purchase
USAV is requiring ALL PLAYERS to purchase the new indoor club season membership. Help can be found at Join The Region
You will need to create a parental SportsEngine household account first. This includes a user name and password. If you have a login from last season, please use the same login. Once completed, you can close out the window and move on to the next step.
Once you have your Sportsengine household login, click the memberships link below or visit the AZ Region Page to purchase the membership for your player. This will need to be completed prior to registering for tryouts with MVC.

The region is finally going paperless for several of their forms!
ALL PLAYERS WILL BE REQUIRED THIS SEASON TO UPLOAD A BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
Have an image or file of this ready to upload during this process.
If you have more than one player in your family, you will complete this step multiple times.
A new page will open when you click the membership link below. It should automatically log you in to your Parental SE Account and have you select WHO the membership is for. You will select the appropriate player, or ADD CHILD. DO NOT SELECT YOUR OWN NAME. This membership is for the player.
You will complete the steps and sign the waivers.
The cost is approx $75 for the membership. It will show in two split amounts. This just shows some of the payment going to the National Office and some of the payment going to the AZ Region. This is normal.
After you complete the purchase of the membership, write down the membership number and proceed to Registering for Tryouts with Momentum below.
Players will show ineligible in your Sportsengine portal until you complete the birth certificate upload. You will receive emails on how to complete this with instructions. You may still register for tryouts while these items are being completed. The SE site is delayed a few minutes, so you may have to refresh a few times for it to reflect the eligibility status.

AZ 17 and Under Membership This membership type is a full membership for ALL players ages 17 and under.

Register for Tryouts with Momentum!
Once you have your Parental SportsEngine Account, and you have your players Membership purchased along with their membership number written down, proceed below to register for tryouts.
The link will open up and should automatically log you in to your parental SportsEngine account. If not, scroll down to the bottom of the form and click sign in, OR continue. Most of the child information should pre-fill. Review the age chart to ensure you are selecting to correct age group for tryouts. Verify players full date of birth is accurate. Once completed, you are ready for tryouts!

$25 Tryout Fee - Non Refundable - Cash preferred, Check Made out to Momentum Volleyball Club or Zelle Available.
You do NOT need to bring any additional paperwork for check in!
This is a closed tryout Parents will not be allowed to watch in the gym. Parents will be required to check in the players at the check-in table and can come back at the contract signing time. If it is sooner, we will have the players call you to come back.
Players who make a team will have their parents return to sign season contracts, fill out additional paperwork, set up their teamsnap account access, completed uniform sizing, and make payments. You will also have a quick meeting with your coaches for introductions and go over practice locations and times.
If players and parents do not sign their contracts and/or pay the required deposit at the time of signing, their roster spot will be forfeited and offered to another player.
Please review the club season information and pricing prior to attending tryouts.
We will email reminders and updates as we get closer to tryouts.
We recommend attending all OPEN GYM nights leading into tryouts. This is the time for parents to come in and ask questions about how to obtain the memberships and how to register for tryouts.

Age & Experience Guidance
The Spring Developmental program is primarily designed for athletes currently in 6th–8th grade
Athletes younger than 6th grade with prior volleyball experience may attend Open Gyms so coaches can evaluate readiness for participation at this level
