2026-2027 Boys Fall Club Season Coaching Projections

Updated: 19 hours ago

Here are the projected coaches for the 2026–2027 Fall Club season at Momentum Volleyball Club.

We are projecting 10-12 teams this coming season, ages 14U–18s.

At Momentum Volleyball Club, we believe great players are developed by great coaches.

As a boys‑only volleyball club, our focus has always been on teaching, mentoring, and developing boys volleyball athletes. MVC is entering out 10th year! Our program is not built around forming as many teams as possible or satisfying investors or expensive facility overhead. We run this club because we love what we do, and we only bring in coaches who share that mission.

Every coach on our staff specializes in boys volleyball. We do not share coaches with girls programs.

We don’t hire egos; we hire people who fit our culture and can deliver the experience we promise to players and parents. Our staff includes current collegiate head coaches, collegiate assistant coaches, former collegiate athletes, professional volleyball players, current high school boys volleyball coaches, veteran coaches with decades of experience, and Momentum alumni who have returned to coach the next generation of athletes.

We’re proud to have built long‑standing relationships with collegiate programs such as Ottawa University and Arizona Christian University, creating opportunities for our athletes to learn from coaches who actively recruit, develop, and compete at the collegiate level.

Many of our coaches have been with Momentum since our club was founded, while others grew up in our program and returned to give back. That continuity has helped create a culture centered around player development, accountability, and a genuine passion for growing the game of boys volleyball.

From beginners learning the fundamentals to athletes competing in and winning multiple national championships and earning opportunities to play in college, our coaches have a proven track record of developing players at every stage of their volleyball journey.

    • Alumni who have returned as coaches and staff, reinforcing the club’s community and culture.

    • Multiple Club National Championship wins (2024 USAV and 2026 AAU), national runner‑ups, and consistent presence in top brackets at major events.

Greg’s coaching and leadership philosophy is built on the belief that if you invest in the development of players and coaches, the wins will follow. He focuses on building strong fundamentals, volleyball IQ, and leadership, while holding both athletes and staff to clear standards of accountability and culture. At Liberty High School, Greg’s work as Head Coach helps align the high school and club experience, giving athletes a consistent message and pathway whether they are in the gym for school or for Momentum.

Under Greg’s direction, Momentum has grown into a program where boys can start in developmental seasons and progress all the way to Nationals and college opportunities. The club’s success is not just measured by trophies, but by the number of athletes who stay, grow, and eventually give back as coaches, mentors, and leaders.

Glennda Freeman – Co‑Owner, Club Administrator, Director of Operations

Glennda Freeman is the Co‑Owner, Club Administrator, and Director of Operations for Momentum Volleyball Club. While Greg leads on the court, Glennda’s work behind the scenes is a major reason Momentum has been organized, professional, and sustainable for more than a decade.

Glennda oversees all core operations of the club, including:

  • Club finances and budgeting.

  • Scheduling practices, tournaments, and events.

  • Travel coordination for regional and national competitions.

  • Rosters, contracts, and registration processes.

  • Communication and administrative support for families and coaches.

Through her leadership in the back office, Glennda has helped create and refine processes and procedures that allow Momentum to grow without losing its family‑oriented feel. The club’s ability to handle large seasons, multiple teams, and national travel while remaining organized and responsive to families is a direct reflection of the systems she has put in place.

Her approach to operations is grounded in three priorities:

  • Family‑oriented: Parents know who they are dealing with, and communication is direct and personal.

  • Organized and professional: Schedules, payments, travel, and logistics are handled with clarity and consistency.

  • Development‑focused: Administrative decisions are made with the development of players and coaches in mind, so the process supports growth rather than getting in the way.

Glennda believes that if a club is well‑run and the standards are clear, coaches and players can focus fully on training, competition, and culture. This alignment, strong operations off the court and clear expectations on the court, is a big reason Momentum has been able to compete nationally, retain families, and continue adding quality coaches year after year.

Together, Greg and Glennda set the tone for Momentum from the top down. Their combined leadership (Greg on the court and in coaching, Glennda in operations and organization) has created a boys volleyball club that is both seriously competitive and deeply rooted in culture.

The “Momentum standards” start with them and extend through every team, coach, and player, which is why the club has remained successful, proven, and sustainable for so long.
