MVC Boys Volleyball 2026 Summer Events Posted!

Welcome to Momentum Volleyball Club

Momentum Volleyball Club is Arizona's premier boys volleyball program, built over a decade on family culture, elite coaching, and a proven track record from developmental play all the way through 18s Open nationals-level competition. We field 10 to 15 teams per season, compete mainly in AAU, USAV, and JVA tournaments, and have earned multiple National Championship bids and top finishes. Our program is boys-only, our coaches are dedicated exclusively to boys volleyball, and our reputation has been built almost entirely through word of mouth.

Whether your son is picking up a volleyball for the first time or is a seasoned club player with his sights on a college roster spot, there is a place for him here. Everyone is welcome!

We are experiencing a ton of interest this summer! We will be asking that you register for the events you plan on coming to. This helps us communicate with you if there are any modification to the schedules and be able to provide you updates for the specific event. Most events will max out at 24 or 36 athletes. For events that sell out, we will look to add additional court space and times.

Our main HAVEN location (63rd and Cactus) is currently full for the month of June, as all 9 of our AAU and USAV Nationals teams will be practicing there. We have secured multiple additional gyms for us to offer the most summer events ever! Events will return to Haven in the middle of July and for open houses in August!

We are also planning on a fun evening summer grass tournament for boys and girls in the middle of July! Details coming soon!

Our club has continued the thrive thanks to our MVC community word of mouth advertising and positive experiences with our club. We thank you for continuing to trust MVC and we welcome all new players who may be looking to join our club over the summer!

We're excited to share everything we have planned for boys volleyball this summer! From drop-in clinics to advanced training and fall tryout prep, there's something for every level. 🔥 HIGH SCHOOL GAMEPLAY NIGHTS — NOW 2 SESSIONS 🔥

Due to overwhelming demand and nearly 70 players already registered, Momentum Volleyball is officially expanding to TWO High School Gameplay sessions every Friday!

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Our previous 14U Gameplay Nights will now transition into these High School Gameplay Nights.

For 14U athletes, we strongly recommend our July Academy or Boys Club Prep Program as the best developmental pathway for skill building and club preparation. See below for details.

High School Gameplay - Multiple Competitive Games, King of the Court, etc.

2 Sessions Available.

Competitive drop-in play for high school athletes with some previous school or club experience. Show up, compete, and get better. This is not a good fit for players who have never touched a volleyball. Brand new players should look for the academy program or the high school prep program in July.

Dates: Fridays — May 29, June 5, 12, 19, 26

Session 1: 5-7PM. Check in starts at 4:45PM

BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE LEVEL: Best Suited For

• Incoming Freshmen

• Freshman-level players

• JV-level high school athletes

• Players newer to school or club volleyball

• Club Players who do not compete in Open level play

Session 2: 7-9PM. Check in starts at 6:45PM

ADVANCED LEVEL: Best Suited For

• Current Varsity Level Players

• 16s Nationals Club level through 18 Open level

• If you are unsure, start with the earlier session and then you can decide if you want to stay for the later session as well.

Trevell & Oldani Advanced Clinic, Meet & Greet - 24 Players MAX - All players eligible- Register Below.

Momentum Volleyball Club is proud to present the Trevell & Oldani Advanced Volleyball Clinic with Meet and Greet! This advanced clinic features high-level training with collegiate standouts Trevell Jordan (middle blocker) and Connor Oldani (outside/opposite). This elite session is designed for experienced high school boys players who want to sharpen their game with position-specific instruction, high-rep drills, and competitive play. All high school boys players are welcome to attend, but this clinic is recommended for athletes with prior school or club volleyball experience. Limited spots will be available and registration is first come, first served!

Trevell Jordan – Clinic Coach

Trevell Jordan is one of the most exciting young middle blockers in the college game and brings championship-level experience to the gym. As a standout middle for the University of Hawai‘i, he has competed at the highest level of NCAA volleyball and is now an NCAA Champion. In addition to his college career, Trevell has also competed with the USA Team, giving him a deep understanding of what it takes to play fast, physical, modern men’s volleyball.

At this clinic, Trevell will focus on helping athletes grow their blocking, attacking, and overall presence at the net. Players will get to learn from someone who has lived the grind of high-level volleyball and knows how to translate that into clear, actionable feedback for high school athletes. Parents can expect a coach who is positive, energetic, and focused on building confidence while still challenging players to compete at a higher level.

Connor Oldani – Clinic Coach

Connor Oldani is an explosive outside hitter/opposite from BYU, one of the premier men’s volleyball programs in the country. He has competed for the USA Team and, in his most recent season, earned Honorable Mention All-American recognition, highlighting him as one of the top players at his position. Connor brings high-level experience in both attacking and all-around play on the pin, as well as the mindset required to succeed in a top NCAA program.

At this clinic, Connor will share the knowledge, skills, and habits he has developed throughout his volleyball career, with a focus on hitting, serve receive, and competitive drills that mirror the college practice environment. Athletes will have the chance to learn directly from a current high-level collegiate player, ask questions, and see what it really looks like to pursue volleyball at the next level. Parents can feel confident that their athletes are being coached by someone who not only plays at an elite standard, but also loves teaching and investing in the next generation of players.

David Kisiel (FORMER GCU OH) Advanced Clinic - 24 Players MAX

This specialty clinic is led by David Kisiel and designed for experienced players ages 15s–18s who have competed at the school or club level. More details and registration information will be released soon. 24 Players Max! First Come First Serve! Will sell out quickly!

MVC Boys Academy - 12s-14s with 1 Year or less of club experience (15s with no experience welcome!) 36 Spots Max!

MVC Boys Academy is our signature summer training program for boys players who are still early in their volleyball journey and want to get a feel for what competitive volleyball looks like. This academy program sells out every year! Be sure to register ASAP!

Designed for ages 12–14 with one year or less of club experience (and 15s with no experience welcome), this multi-week academy delivers eight structured sessions and sixteen total hours of focused, high-repetition training. Players will learn and reinforce core fundamentals: consistent serving, proper passing platform, footwork and timing for hitting, and age-appropriate blocking technique. We also introduce athletes to the different court positions and their responsibilities, so they begin to understand how setters, middles, outsides, opposites, and liberos all work together.

Athletes will get an introduction to basic offensive and defensive systems, learning how to transition, communicate, and make simple reads on live play rather than just isolated drills. Throughout the academy, coaches focus on building confidence, teaching good habits, and helping families see whether their player is ready to commit to the sport at a higher level for the competitive fall club season. Players in the Academy are also welcome to attend our drop-in open gyms on additional nights to get more reps and game play experience, with a separate nightly fee for those optional sessions.

Dates: July 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30 (Tuesdays & Thursdays)

Time: 5-7PM

Location: Great Hearts Glendale Prep - 83rd and Pinnacle Peak

Ages: 12–15* | Players will be separated by court based on age and skill level — courts will run simultaneously

MVC Boys Club Prep Program- 14s-16s with 1 Year or more of club/school experience - 36 Spots MAX

*NEW THIS YEAR! Will sell out. MVC Boys Club Prep Program (14s–16s, 1+ year experience) would be a focused training block of 8 sessions (16 hours) designed for players who already know the basics and are preparing for the intensity of full club season. Perfect for Freshman Players who have only had school ball experience, or club players who are ready to take their skills to the next level.

It would likely emphasize higher-level skills (serve receive systems, offensive tempo, blocking schemes, reading hitters), along with game-like drills and structured scrimmage so athletes can refine decision-making and consistency under pressure. It would also function as “pre-tryout” preparation: cleaning up technique, sharpening positional skills, and getting athletes physically and mentally ready for fall club or high school season, while training alongside peers with similar experience and goals
