REMAINING PRE-TRYOUT EVENTS
Come check out Momentum Volleyball Club before fall tryouts! These free evaluation nights are a great way for players and families to meet our coaching staff, see what the club is about, and get a feel for the program before committing to tryouts.
PARENT NIGHT MEETINGS
Register to let MVC know that you will be attending the Club information meeting. These meetings will take place during or prior to the open gyms sessions for your sons age group. We will use your contact information to provide details and follow-up leading into the August 15th Club Tryouts. This meeting is geared more towards newer MVC Club parents, and new club parents in general.
This information will be posted on our website soon, so if you are unable to attend, please come to our open house/eval nights to ask us questions.

You will also get to meet our club owners Greg and Glennda Freeman and other coaches and staff while the boys play at the open gym.
All events are at Haven Church 5902 W Cactus Rd. Meet in the main gym and we will walk to the classroom which is on campus.

TEAM DESCRIPTIONS
This upcoming season is expected to be another big one with plans to have 10-12 teams based on our current projections. This will allow MVC to offer multiple teams in almost all age groups, including multiple Nationals teams and regional/local level teams.
Nationals Teams:

Our Nationals teams compete at the highest level in a year-round schedule from Aug-July (break from Feb-April) and compete in both USAV, JVA and AAU tournaments. Many Nationals Level teams will be attending JVA Nationals and/or USAV National Championships over the summer. Our 1s and 2s Nationals teams have been very competitive in all age groups the last several years, which is why most 2s teams are also considered Nationals Teams.

Multiple travel tournaments are included in the regular season club schedule to help prepare the athletes for Nationals in July, gain exposure from college recruits, and compete against high quality competition. They also have the opportunity to win a bid at one of those tournaments, which will allow them to compete in a higher division at The National Championships in June/July 2027.

Full commitment from players is required, and all playing time is earned. All players who make a roster for a Nationals team are required to participate through the end of the teams last Nationals tournament day.
Regional Teams:

Our Regional teams compete at a high level within the state of AZ including all region tournaments and other local tournaments. No travel is expected, but sometimes has the option to add tournaments via a team vote and at an additional fee. (IE: Vegas)

Designed for players who may not be able to commit to the full travel schedule, financial requirements, and/or summer nationals season.

FULL DUES & FULL SCHEDULES, WHATS INCLUDED?
All players participating in Momentum Volleyball Club (MVC) are required to agree to this financial contract at the time of tryouts. By signing this contract, you acknowledge and commit to the financial obligations outlined herein for the duration of the season. Please note that the schedule and expenses are subject to change.
Club volleyball is not a month-by-month program. MVC undertakes upfront expenses for various components, including but not limited to uniform packages, facility contracts, tournament and region entry fees, insurance, equipment, salaries, and other operational costs. These expenses are divided among each player on the roster and are integral to providing this comprehensive opportunity for our players. Payment plans are structured to assist families, but the full financial commitment for the season remains unchanged.
If a player makes a roster, we will require a deposit (Amount Determined by team) Cash or Check (Made out to Momentum Volleyball Club) Deposit immediately following tryouts on August 15th, 2026. We will not be taking credit or debit card payments at tryouts. This deposit covers the complete custom uniform package (which will be ordered immediately) and remaining August dues. We allow the remaining balance for the season to be paid in monthly payment plans, see below.
*Additional Travel Expenses are not included in club dues.
**TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE**
REGION TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
All MVC Teams will compete in the AZ Region Schedule below.
Most teams will be competing in additional travel and National Qualifier Tournaments. Be sure to review each specific projected team schedules. All AZ Region tournaments are local and will be held on Saturdays. Locations vary around the Valley. Play locations are not determined until the Monday or Tuesday prior. Tournaments usually start around 8-9am and end around 4 or 5pm. Teams will usually play 3-4 matches throughout the day. The Region Finals will conclude the region season in the middle of December. Teams will move up or down based on AZ region rankings and will play in the AZ Region finals in December.
