THIS PROGRAM IS NOW SOLD OUT. Momentum is excited to announce our first annual MVC Boys Futures Academy! This program is geared for boys players 14&Under. This is a 12 week program that includes one 2-Hour Practice per week with our USAV Certified Coaches. The goal of the program is to prepare these players for the 14&U Club Developmental Season with the AZ USAV Region and MVC that begins in February 2021 and ends in May. We also want this program to be FUN for them to come to! We will be sure to include games, contests and music to keep them actively engaged.
After the developmental season ends in May, we will have open gyms over the summer. The 14 and Older players will hopefully be trying out for the 2021 Fall Club Season for Momentum in August 2021! The players under 14 can come back for a more advanced Futures Academy next year too! We are thankful to be able to provide year-round opportunities for boys players!
Players will be assigned courts by skill level each week. Players will also be receiving backpacks and player shirts!
We will be working on individual fundamental skills (hitting, serving, setting, passing, blocking etc,) Team skills (rotations, communication, strategy, etc.) and Advanced Skills (Offensive and defensive team strategies, hitting and serving target zones, Identifying angels and probability, game patterns etc.)
The price for the program is a one time fee of $200.00 (Price Drop from $325!) cash or check only (Check made to Momentum Volleyball Club.). We will not be accepting weekly walk-ins due to this being a closed curriculum based program. Your fee covers all 12 weeks and if you are unable to attend for one of the sessions the price will remain the same. We will accept payment at the check in table on the first night. This Program will be held on Wednesday evenings at Peoria Sportsplex located at 16083 N 75th Ave, Peoria, AZ 85382 from 6-8PM.
We will have a maximum of 24 players allowed for this program.
The first week will be September 9th and run every Wednesday (Skipping Nov. 25th -Thanksgiving Week) and ending on December 2nd.
The only two documents you will need to bring on the first night will be the MVC Participation Waiver, and the MVC Covid Waiver.
