Greatest personal coaching moment: Getting to the first State Championship match in the school’s history and backing it up again the next year. I have just retired after coaching 30 years of girls school volleyball.

Coaching Philosophy/Why you love to coach: My favorite part of coaching is when you work with a young athlete on something specific at practice, and they do it correctly in a match, the look of accomplishment on their face makes me feel very good. I give a lot of feedback to my athletes so seeing them improve is what makes me feel like I have accomplished something.

Hobbies: Cooking and spending time with my wife and two sons.
