Places/Levels/Ages coached: I have coached Girls club volleyball at the 14’s through 18’s levels. I have coached Varsity Girls Volleyball at Arcadia High School from 1999-2015 where we were state runners-up twice, and semi-finalists 6 times. I am currently the Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach where I am now entering my 4th season. I also started the brand new program of Boys Varsity Volleyball at Alhambra where we just completed our first season.

Coaching education/certification (ex. Impact, Cap I, II): I have been Impact, Cap I and Cap II certified.
Greatest personal coaching moment: Getting to the first State Championship match in the school’s history and backing it up again the next year. I have just retired after coaching 30 years of girls school volleyball.
Coaching Philosophy/Why you love to coach: My favorite part of coaching is when you work with a young athlete on something specific at practice, and they do it correctly in a match, the look of accomplishment on their face makes me feel very good. I give a lot of feedback to my athletes so seeing them improve is what makes me feel like I have accomplished something.

Hobbies: Cooking and spending time with my wife and two sons.
