Greg Freeman

MVC Co-Owner

I am the Co-Owner of Momentum Volleyball Club. I have coached the sport of volleyball for both boys and girls at every skill level and age for over 17 years.  Most recently, I coached the Momentum Boys 18 National Black team to the Gold Division taking 3rd Place in the country at the Boys Junior National Championships. All eligible athletes received scholarship offers to play volleyball in college! Prior to that, I coached the  Momentum Girls 17N Impulse team which finished as state runner up in the USAV Junior Girls AZ Region Championship Division. In 2018, I helped Coach the 6A Liberty High School Boys Volleyball team which won their first ever play-in game and made it to the 6A AZ State Playoffs for the first time in school history.

I have since retired coaching club teams to focus on club operations due to the incredible growth of our Boys and Girls Club Seasons (Over 30 teams annually!). My primary role will be to support all of our Directors and Coaches in all aspects of the business.

In my playing days, I was the starting setter for two state-runner up teams. I played baseball through HS, ran cross country, track and graduated from Mountain Ridge High School. After HS, I was a sponsored softball player for Mizuno.

In my free time I coach my sons club baseball team, I love to write music/play my guitar, go to sporting events, and spend time with my family and friends. I have been married to my wife Glennda for 15 years. I have a step-daughter named Madison who is 22 and an 13 year old son named Aiden (Coach Aiden). I am currently the Project Manager for an Agency which provides services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. Prior to that I was a Product Owner in Global Card Issuance - at American Express for 7 years.

We sincerely thank you for choosing to be part of our Momentum Family and for your continued support of our Coaches and Athletes.
