All roster Spots for the 2018-2019 Girls Season are Full!
We are excited to continue to grow the MVC brand with great parents, great coaches, and great players. We also want to continue to grow the game of volleyball in the northwest valley. Our Girls 17s Team Placed 2nd in Championship last season, and Our Boys 18s team is currently ranked 6th in the state. The word is getting out about Momentum! We expect to have extremely competitive teams across the board this season. All of our Nationals Teams will have the opportunity for more exposure at National Bid tournaments and showcases.
Our club will NOT be fielding OPEN teams. The region has required all OPEN teams to compete on Sundays. Our survey results showed a majority of players, parents, and coaches would prefer to NOT play in all-day Sunday tournaments.
At Momentum, we are very family focused. We understand that for many of you, (and our staff) Sunday's are reserved for family days, church, grocery shopping, football, and laundry! :)
For this reason, All of our Nationals teams will play in the Championship Division for the AZ Region. We anticipate a majority of the clubs will go in the same direction which will increase the number of teams in Championship and make the Championship division extremely competitive! Many OPEN teams from last year will be moving to the Championship Division due to the change.
In addition to providing experienced players with the best training, equipment and tournaments, we want to offer an amazing deal to players playing on our 12's teams. We want to give as many young players as possible the opportunity to play club volleyball and get a full club experience at a great cost.
Whats else is new this year?

We have hired over 10 additional USAV Certified coaches! We are confident that we have the best coaching staff in the valley! Almost all of our coaches are currently coaching volleyball at High Schools, Middle Schools, and Elementary Schools. They coach year-round!

We have upgraded and added the best facilities in north Peoria for practice locations!

We are practicing either Mon/Wed or Tue/Thr (Except for a few weeks at the start of the season)

We have added additional tournaments for all teams. Teams will average 12-14 tournaments this year! (35-40 2 Hour Practices)

Nationals Teams will participate in an additional travel bid tournaments this year in Spokane and Las Vegas!

All teams (Including the 12s!) will receive an upgraded uniform packages with USAV Certified Logo, New Player Jersey Designs, New Backpack Designs, Spandex, and Custom Warm up Jackets and Pants included!

Tryouts!
Forms required for Open House and Tryouts. No Exceptions: *Copy of Active USAV Membership card, Medical Release Form, Safesport, Concussion, and Birth Certificate for new club players is Required!! All forms available on our website under documents and links.
November 17th TRYOUTS FOR 15 and UP - Ages 15 and 16 Check in at 8am. Tryouts from 8:30-9:30am , 17s and 18s teams are Check in at 9:30am. Tryouts are 10-11am. West Wing Elementary School. Parent Meeting for all rostered players will be from 11:15ish-12pm.
Please note we will be holding two sessions for tryouts: This is a closed tryout. Parents can sign player in, but are not allowed to remain in the gym during the tryout. Please come back near the end of the session.
15 and 16's- Check in at 8:00am. Tryouts start promptly at 8:30am. This session will run until 9:30. Immediately following tryouts contract signing will take place. We will also be doing uniform fittings. There will be a mandatory parent meeting at 11:15ish am.
17's and 18's - Check in at 9:30. Tryouts start promptly at 10am. This session will run until 11:00am. Immediately following tryouts will be a mandatory parent meeting around 11ish -12. After the parent meeting 17/18 contract signing and uniform fitting will take place.
In order to be eligible to participate in tryouts, participants must come with their 2019 USAV Membership, Completed SafeSport Form, completed Concussion Acknowledgement and a completed Medical Release form. All forms can be found on our website, momentumvb.com.
If your player makes a team, you will be required to pay the $500 deposit immediately following. We prefer cash or check made out to Momentum Volleyball Club, as their are no fees. For CC, you will be charged and additional processing percentage of 2.9%.

Other Important Info
In order to attend our open houses and tryouts, you will be required to bring a copy of your active USAV Membership Card and Medical Release Form. Links to the forms and how to register for a USAV Membership can be found on our documents/links tab or on the region site.

We do not charge a tryout fee. If your player makes a team, you will be required immediately after tryouts to sign a financial contract and pay the initial $500 deposit. No Fee's for Cash or Check. Additional Fee will be required for all CC payments.
